Planning approvals in the bag

Great to get some approvals across the line over the last week or so, including: – Conversions and extensions to a barn in Holmesfield to form a single dwelling. – Construction of a garage in the Green Belt, Darrington (the client had previously received a refusal prior to our involvement). – Craft ale bars in […]

The site falls within the Green Belt and currently contains a ramshackle collection of buildings/ uses which we are proposing to replace with this high quality scheme. A great redevelopment project which will enhance openness, […]

Lymm, Cheshire – Planning permission in the Green Belt granted for 3 dwellings!

The scheme included the conversion of a non-designated heritage asset (barn), demolition of equestrian buildings and construction of 2 new-build units. Bit of a slow burner to get through the planning process but client delighted in the end. Great work from all of the team including Richard Williams Architecture and Middleton Bell Ecology.

Green Belt scheme near Pontefract approved

Planning permission secured for a Green Belt infill development of two dwellings near Pontefract, West Yorkshire! We were required to demonstrate a legitimate village location (with reference to the case of Wood vs SoS, etc). Also managed to negotiate part of the site falling within Flood Zone 2. A really pragmatic and helpful approach from […]

The decision was directly contrary to the findings of specialist arboricultural findings. Thankfully, the Inspector agreed with our justification and our clients are […]
